World Peace Flag Ceremony in Hudson, New York, USA

The Hudson Earth Day, World Peace Flag Ceremony took place Wednesday evening and honored countries form around the world. Volunteers from Columbia County carried flags on stage, while each country was recognized by the audience saying, “May Peace be in (country name).” The words, May Peace Prevail On Earth, echoed throughout the room at the closing of the ceremony.
The Event was organized by Christianna Abel, a member of The World Peace Prayer Society who held these ceremonies in Massachusetts for eight years. This is her first time holding a World Peace Flag Ceremony in the Hudson area, where she now lives.
