Rotary International General Secretary, John Hewko accepted the Peace Pole as a gift on behalf of Rotary International Headquarters in Evanston, Illinois, USA.

The Peace Pole was handcrafted at The World Peace Sanctuary to be presented at (RI-UN Day) . The Peace Pole bears the universal peace message, May Peace Prevail On Earth and includes the Rotary International logo— “Peace through Service.”
