Peace Pole in Loving Memory to honor all the victims and their families, firefighters, medical assistants and numerous volunteers.

Here is the Peace Pole that staff  members of The World Peace Prayer Society  placed in Union Square 3 days after the attacks on September 11, 2001.

Peace Poles stand as a testament of hope and the need to find nonviolent ways to break cycles of violence.
