New Peace Pole in AUSTRIA – Celebrate Peace Day in School "Seitenstetten-Biberbach

The Middle School of Seitenstetten-Biberbach (between Salzburg and Vienna) in Austria has the tradition of an annual Peace Day prior to Pentecost.

Mr Penzendorfer who is a member of  “Energy for Peace Austria” (each company/office changing to solar energy also obtains a Peace Pole as symbol for its dedication to peace) informed the school about the worldwide Peace Pole Project.  The World Peace Prayer Society- Europe helped obtain the Peace Pole.

On May 22nd 2015  the whole School celebrated with peace prayers,  songs and a Peace Pole with the peace message in Arabic, German, English and Bosnian. The Peace Pole Project is listed on the school`s webpage:  http://www.hsseitenstetten.ac.at/content.php?pageId=7760
