Prayers for USA on Patriot Day, September 11, 2020, Wassaic, NY- USA
Staff of the World Peace Sanctuary and community members gathered for a very special USA Prayer Ceremony to commemorate the thousands of lives lost, their families, and first responders of the 9/11attack. 9/11 is now known as “Patriot Day” in the United States and is observed as the National Day of Service and Remembrance of the victims of the 9/11 attacks.

The USA Prayer Ceremony began with everyone walking in a procession to the beat of the drum, then circling around a Peace Pole which led to the center with another Peace Pole which included the message, “May Peace be in The United States of America.”
Tonia Shoumatoff—Native American, four direction-blessing ceremony.
Cristina Reyes read aloud a beautiful excerpt from the book Matrix Meditations, by Victoria Daniels and Kooch N. Daniels.
The USA ceremony began with a Native American invocation, giving gratitude to the four directions, by Tonia Shoumatoff.
Ann Marie Robustelli, led the USA prayer ceremony.
Special prayers were offered to the State and Government officials in Washington, DC.
