Our Peace Pole dedication took place on December 13th, 2010. We had an all school assembly where students sang, read poetry and represented the 20 different languages we have at our school with the mantra of “May Peace Prevail on Earth.” We chose 8 different languages to be placed on our Peace Ppole which are: English, French, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Spanish, and Vietnamese. Our Peace Pole stands in the center of our outdoor school area as a reminder that we need to work for Peace on Earth together.
