Centennial Elementary School Peace Pole Dedication Ceremony-May 13, 2008

News from Peace Rep, Melvin Giles – Minnesota, USA 

On Tuesday, May 13, 2008, Centennial Elementary School rededicated itself as an International Peace Site and dedicated their new Peace Pole, which reads, “May Peace Prevail On Earth” in 8 different languages representing the school population. Mr. Melvin Giles, WPPS Representative and Mr. Lynn Elling, found of World Citizen were there to help in the celebration by sharing about Peace Sites and Peace Poles. At the end of the celebration all of the students joyfully sent Peace Bubbles floating into the sky.
