Peace Pole at Rogers Park Elementary-May, 2007

Date of Peace Pole planting: May 2007, planted at south east corner on Zarvis along with a bench that was made by the King Career Center.

We had a dedication ceremony; the Peace Pole was dedicated in memory of Shari Henkelman, friend, parent, staff member, mediation coach, Girl Scout leader and so much more.

The message, May Peace Prevail On Earth is in 4 languages: English, Russian, Spanish and Hebrew.
