Hundreds of Americans Pledge to make a Difference!
New York, NY, Walk for Values USA took the city by storm on Sunday, June 22, 2008 as hundreds of Americans from all walks of life stepped out to make a difference! The walk took place in downtown Manhattan, beginning and ending in Battery Park.
Walk for Values USA is unique because unlike other walks, it is not a fundraiser, protest rally or demonstration. Instead, it seeks simply to raise the awareness that shapes the way people think, feel and behave. To encourage the expression of our “Truth” as human beings in areas of Conduct, Peace, Love and Nonviolence!
Reiko Kamozawa and Akiko Imaizumi, both members of The World Peace Prayer Society, were placed in front, to lead more than 500 people in the Walk for Values USA. They carried our message in their hearts and hands, as they so proudly displayed a banner and Peace Pole, inscribed with the Universal Prayer, May Peace Prevail On Earth.
