Peace Pole at the Büchel Air Force Base in Germany

This Peace Pole was sponsored by the Mayor of Mutlangen and planted at the Büchel Air Force Base in Germany.

The German town Mutlangen in South Germany  is a synonym for the anti nuclear power movement in Germany as Pershing II rockets were stored in Mutlangen from 1982 to 1990 causing heaps of demonstration around Mutlangen back then.

So the mayor of Mutlangen wanted to express his empathy by gifting a Peace Pole to the air force base.
